ORGANIC Tea & Rice
Kyoto Wazuka: Naturally grown tea and rice grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers
Wanting to bring smiles to people who eat our tea, to ensure the sustainability of our production areas, and to cherish the global environment, we moved from southern Thailand to our beloved Wazuka Town in Kyoto, where we, as a couple, grow tea and rice in close proximity to nature. We carefully observe the condition of the soil, creating an environment where soil organisms can thrive, and creating healthy soil. We do not use any pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Riceberry is a cross between Thai jasmine rice and Thai black rice.
It is rare to produce it domestically, and it has been garnering attention as a superfood. It goes particularly well with Thai cuisine and curry.
Message
We moved from southern Thailand to our favorite town, Wazuka, to grow tea and rice. Our mission is to farm: caring for smiles of consumers, sustainability of farm land, and the global environment.
I encountered tea and rice in Wazuka Town, Kyoto, Japan. I thought I could challenge myself to deliver tea and rice grown by ourselves with our stories. So, I learned farming tea and rice for several years in Wazuka. It takes a lot of time and labor to cultivate without agrochemicals and chemical fertilizers, but every day I feel the satisfaction of interacting with nature to deliver safe and healthy agricultural products.

At Jack farm, we hold tea farming workshops in the spring when the new tea leaves are being picked, allowing participants to enjoy tea picking and tasting. We particularly want to give children the opportunity to experience tea and share the experience with it. If you are interested, please contact us.
